How long have you been in business ?

We founded Crystal D Studio in 2014. Since then, our team has had the honor of capturing over 500 weddings!

How do we book?

To secure your date, we require a signed contract and a small retainer fee (please see our pricing PDF for details). The remaining balance is due 14 days before your wedding date.

Can you hold the date for me?

Unfortunately, we cannot hold dates. To be fair to all our couples, we work on a first-come, first-serve basis. To officially secure your date, we require two things: a signed digital contract and the retainer payment. Once those are received, your date is

Is there a limit of photos we receive ?

No, There’s no limit. You’ll receive between 600 – 1500 edited photos, this depends on the legth of our coverage.

If we run over our coverage time what happens?

We understand that timelines can shift! If your event runs late, we will always check with you or your wedding coordinator first. We will get your verbal approval to continue coverage at our standard overtime rate (detailed in your contract). We will send an invoice for any additional hours after the wedding.

How long does it take to get our wedding images?

We deliver your images in two parts:

  • Sneak Peeks: You’ll receive a preview gallery via email within 2 days of your wedding. These will also be posted on Instagram for you to share with friends and family.

  • Full Gallery: Your complete, high-resolution image gallery will be delivered within 8 weeks.

How long does it take to get our wedding videos?

We deliver your films in two parts to make sure you get to see something right away:

  • Sneak Peek: You’ll receive a 60-second teaser film within 7 days of your wedding. It will be emailed to you and posted on Instagram for you to easily share.

  • Final Films: Within 8-12 weeks of your wedding, you will receive links to your 4-5 minute Cinematic Film and the Full-Length Documentary.

We're both really awkward and shy in front of the camera. How do you handle that?

This is one of our most common (and valid!) concerns. Please don’t worry—our job isn’t to turn you into models. Our job is to make you feel comfortable enough to be yourselves.

We use prompts, not poses. Instead of a stiff, “Stand there, tilt your head, and smile,” we’ll give you actions to do together. We might ask you to walk, to whisper what you’re most excited about, or to tell each other a memory from your first date. This creates real, natural interactions and genuine smiles. Our goal is to capture your connection, and we find that happens best when you’re focused on each other, not on us.

If it rains and our portrait session is ruined what next?

We always come prepared with a backup plan! We are very comfortable shooting in all kinds of weather and will work with you to find a beautiful sheltered location or get creative with umbrellas.

However, if the weather is truly severe (like a major storm) and prevents us from capturing your outdoor portraits at all, we’ve got you covered. We will provide a complimentary 2-hour couple’s portrait session on a different day.

Why is having two videographers important?

Having two videographers is one of the key ways we ensure a truly dynamic and comprehensive film. It allows us to elevate your wedding video from a simple recording to a cinematic story. Here’s why it’s so important:

  • Multiple Perspectives: Simply put, we can be in two places at once. During your ceremony, one of us can capture your partner’s emotional expression as you walk down the aisle, while the other captures your grand entrance. This is impossible with just one person.

  • Richer Storytelling: It allows us to get both a “safe” wide shot (capturing the whole scene) and artistic “close-up” shots (focusing on hands, faces, and emotions) at the same time. When we edit your film, this variety is what allows us to build emotion and tell a more engaging story.

  • Fuller Coverage: During speeches, one videographer can focus on the speaker, while the other captures the reactions of you and your guests.

  • Backup: It acts as the ultimate built-in backup, ensuring that every angle of your most important moments is captured.
